BnC Exclusive: SALO – Landing

January 14, 2015Mike Vincent

Kurt Vonnegut‘s SALO, the Tralfamadorian explorer, was a robot built thousands of years ago and tasked to travel across the Universe to reach a distant galaxy. Unfortunately for him, he breaks down short of his goal and is stranded for millennia. Fortunately for us, the SALO that we have come to know and love resides safely in New Mexico, USA, and has clearly been inspired by what the ill-fated SALO must have recorded while he lie idle in that mysterious galaxy.

Today we are proud to exclusively bring “Lander” to your eardrums. SALO has been making tunes for the past year under this alias, but the project has been building momentum as of late. He employs many aspects and stylings that the West Coast bass world has grown accustomed to, yet executes them in ways that make you realize you are listening to something special. His attention to detail ensures that there is never a dull moment. Go ahead and snag the MP3/WAV at the Soundcloud stream below.
